Tahiti Palm Thatch
You can create a wonderful palm atmosphere for any type of tiki hut project when you use Tahiti thatch.
Tahiti Palm Thatch
Tahiti palm thatch is also known as Tahitian palm thatch. Tahiti thatch gives a rustic but tropical, slightly tiered, chunky look to the roof structure. Created from desert palm leaves that are bound together with nylon rope making a thick and full panel. It is a natural, eco-friendly and sustainable material.
Tahiti thatch can be used on new, existing or DIY tiki huts. The flexible binding allows the panel to bend and conform to unusual roof lines like round umbrella style frames, overhangs and awnings. Can be used on a subroof but best application is an open frame.
Tahiti thatch offers extreme durability in the harshest of weather conditions. When applied as directed, Tahiti thatch is 98% waterproof. Wind will flow through the thatch and open frame so there is little uplift. Enjoy your tiki hut any time of the year.
