“While relaxing in my hot tub this past weekend and looking up at the framework and design I realized how far superior this tiki hut is to the last one that it replaced do to old age. My previous tiki installed by the Seminole Indians in Hollywood lasted about 8 years until it was full of holes in the thatch and the posts were so rotted it was ready to topple over.

Your design included treated posts (that I can see are weathering better than the original. The thatching is definitely thicker and the reenforcing cross beams are more plentiful and thicker diameter. The design gave me a more interesting roof than the original square one and more shade. I am enjoying the new tiki so much because of all of the above and also because of the comments of my neighbors and friends who never commented on my first tiki hut. Thanks for the beautiful sturdy job.”
